The Hemingway – Rum Based Beer Cocktail

HEMINGWAY RUM BASED BEER COCKTAIL

· 11/2 OZ. White Rum (we used Blue Chair Bay White Rum)
· 1/2 OZ. Basil infused simple syrup
· 3/4 OZ. Fresh squeezed grapefruit juice
· 2 OZ. Schöfferhofer Grapefruit Beer

PREPARATION:
In a shaker, add rum, basil infused simple syrup and fresh squeezed grapefruit juice. Shake, strain into glass, sugar
and citrus zest rim, top off with Schöfferhofer Grapefruit.

Rumor has it…
Writer Ernest Hemingway famously enjoyed his drinks with a grapefruit. Pretty sure he would approve of this modern Schöfferhofer Grapefruit version!
