Michael Quinlan

Hi, I’m Michael Quinlan Fine Wine Buyer at the flagship Table & Vine. My job is to travel the world to hand select the best wines for our store. 

I began my career here in 1996 when I was hired as a part-time wine associate at Big Y Wines in Northampton. Throughout the years, I’ve held many positions and most recently became the manager of fine wines. As Manager of Fine Wines, my job is to hand select the best wines for our store. I travel extensively across the United States and around the world looking for new and exciting wines to share. My favorites include wines from Burgundy, Spain, Italy and Argentina.

Cannot say I have ever counted, but I’m pretty sure I have personally tasted over 5,000 different wines each year. One of the things I love the most is sharing my traveling experiences with our staff and customers. It’s pretty common to find me popping open a new discovery or an older favorite as a way to educate the team.
