Simple & Elegant Caprese Salad
The simple, yet elegant flavors of Summer…
One of our all time favorite summertime treats, is a Caprese Salad made with fresh, luscious, juicy red tomatoes right out of the garden. Simply slice one pound of Cherry Tomatoes in half. Arrange on a serving platter with one pound of fresh Mozzarella Balls. For even more flavor add a half pound of Kalamata Olives. Roughly chop 20 to 30 fresh Basil Leaves and sprinkle over the platter. Drizzle with olive oil and for an extra layer of flavor, add a drizzle of Balsamic Glaze and a pinch of Salt and Pepper.
Fruity, high acidic wines pair wonderfully with Caprese Salad. From our very own Vineyard Selections, we recommend Serra de Estrella Albariño 2017 or Rain Drop Rosé.
