Bourbon Blackberry Bramble
Bourbon and blackberry is a match made in heaven! The harshness of bourbon is mellowed by the blackberry and simple syrup in this cocktail, resulting in a satisfying, balanced taste. The acidity of the lemon makes for a great final note. We think this is a perfect cocktail to serve any night!
Ingredients:
2oz Bourbon [we used Maker’s Mark]
½ oz Simple Syrup
¾ oz Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
½ oz Blackberry Brandy [we used Hiram Walker]
2-3 Fresh Blackberries
Instructions:
Muddle two fresh blackberries in serving glass. Combine bourbon, simple syrup, and lemon juice in a shaker with ice and shake.
Pour over muddled blackberries, top with blackberry brandy and stir slightly.
Garnish with fresh a blackberry or two.
