The flavor profile of this spooky cocktail is full of tricks and treats. The Monster Mash is herbal, sour, sweet, AND spicy all at the same time. Its slight green tint makes this drink a perfect fit for any of your Halloween festivities. It is truly a delicious abomination.
Ingredients:
2 3/4 (about two shots) vodka [we used Absolut Elyx]
1/2 oz of fresh lime juice
3/4 oz simple syrup
2 slices jalapeño (and extra for garnish, optional)
4 basil leaves (and extra for garnish, optional)
Instructions:
Muddle jalapeño slices and basil leaves in a mixing glass or shaker. If muddling in mixing glass, pour contents into shaker once muddled.
Add vodka, lime juice, and simple syrup. Shake and strain into serving glass.
Garnish with jalapeño slices and basil if desired.
