Maple Bourbon Mulled Cider pairs perfectly with Herbed Pork Loin
- Wash hands with soap and water.
- In a large saucepan over medium-low heat, combine apple cider, maple syrup, lemon juice, cloves, cinnamon sticks and star anise; stir. Let simmer for 20 minutes; avoid boiling.
- Remove from heat, strain into a serving bowl and stir in whiskey. Ladle into mugs and serve warm, not hot.
